We were extremely delighted with the excellent custom cabinetry Mr. Barragan built and installed during the recent remodel of our kitchen. His excellent vision, thoughtful recommendations, quality craftsmanship, fine finishing and meticulous attention to detail are exemplary in the art of fine woodworking.
The kitchen cabinets were a challenge, since few of the dimensions were standard. In addition, some of the walls were adobe and therefore neither plumb nor flat, which provided an addition challenge for mounting and trimming. The large island offered another challenge because of it’s requirements for the sink and additional storage shelves. For all of the work, Mr. Barragan saw the vision, gave us some wonderful options, met all the challenges and produced the beautifully-designed and crafted bases and wall units with all the drawers, doors, knobs and trim which exceeded our expectations.
We appreciated Mr. Barragan's extreme attention to detail, knowledgeable choice of materials, high-quality craftsmanship and meticulous finishing. He very carefully took care of the little details, like covering over screw heads, caulking the irregularities where cabinets met the walls, leveling the cabinets and doors across the entire kitchen, and ensuring that the drawers and doors opened and closed properly. We also greatly appreciated the way he cleaned up the installation area after each visit.
We highly recommend Mr. Carlos Barragan as a cabinet maker.
