I purchased a 22ft wide X 26 ft long X 8 ft high carport from Handi-port,,,, Wilson Manufacturing inc. approx 14 months ago. Recently we had had a snow fall and the carport collapsed onto my 4x4 ford pickup and GMC Yukon. When I purchased this carport I ordered the optional heavy duty truss at added cost and it still fell onto my trucks. When it fell there was 8 inches of snow on it and the trusses failed as well as the walls. I called Handi-port and they told me they could sell me another one but they are not going to stand behind their product so off to court we go. Don't let this happen to you. Handi-port is using round thin walled pipe to manufacture these units and it simply is not strong enough. If they are going to use that to build with, the trusses needs to be built closer together as they are spacing them at 5 ft which is too far apart when using round thin walled tubing. They use this material and spacing to save themselves money. I know of three handi-ports within my county that collapsed but other manufacturers that used square tubing had no failures during the same snowfall and theirs was spaced the same at 5ft. If you live where it snows save your cars and buy from a company that is using better materials.
