If you are interested in the Medical Associate position do NOT do it. I was told that I would be doing medical billing from home for as many Doctors as I would like and I would get paid $4-$7 per claim, depending on how lengthy the claim was. I sent in $199 and received the software about 4 weeks later, I was supposed to have it within 1 week. I made numerous calls and all of them were returned until I sent in my $199! Upon receiving the software, it stated to review the manual and call customer service to set up. I never received a customer service number as promised in the initial phone call and when I call to request the information no one returns my calls.
I specifically spoke with Michael Lewis who told me to "follow my heart" when questioning how legit this offer was. He also stated that "they" have filed a lawsuit against BBB because of the classification of this business. He said that any work at home business gets a rating of "F" because they are classified as "work-at-home". He went on to tell me that the previous complaint (same as mine) was taken care of and she did receive a customer service number and that they sent the wrong info. to the wrong state that she lived in???????? Supposedly each state is to receive a different customer service phone number.
I have tried to get my money back but, of course, no return phone calls!
Beware and do not take advantage of this offer if you come across it. You will lose $199.
