Review 4/19/2010
I agree with others that this appears to be a SCAM. I was called out of the blue on Saturday by an Asian sounding man supposedly named Young Mula 954-306-9033. He told me that he had good news for me - my timeshare "had sold for the asking price of $13,500." Now there were a couple red flags to begin with - first I never listed with Timeshare Mega Media & Marketing and second I didn't list it for $13,500. Anyway, I listened, he gave me the same story about paying the maintenance fee and helping me get my $500 fee back from the other company that went out of business, and that "they would put $1,900 in an escrow account for me" to cover sales expenses, etc. He told me they would FEDEX contract papers to me immediately. I pointed out that I gave him a PO Box address and FEDEX doesn't do PO Boxes. He then said a courier would deliver the papers. I told him couriers don't do PO Boxes either and gave him a street address for my business. More red flags.

Then he asked me to verify my credit card I used with the other company to get my $500 paid to that company refunded back to my credit card. He gave me the last four numbers of the card I supposedly used to pay the other company as "0029". I told him that I didn't have a card with those numbers, so he said I could just "give him a different credit card number." I told him to just forget about the $500 for now from the other company and work on the sale. It was at this point that he first mentioned needing my credit card number for $1,900 to cover costs that would be put in an escrow account in my name and eventually supposedly be refunded to me. (Basically, he was asking for my credit card number claiming it was to get the refund from the other company when in fact he was going to use it to charge $1,900 to me and without me ever specifically agreeing to let them charge $1,900 to me.)

I told him that I wasn't going to give him any credit card number until I checked the company out and he sent me a copy of the signed sales agreement/offer. He then pulled the time sensitive thing and said it had to be done tonight (Saturday). I said no problem - email me a pdf of the signed offer. He made more excuses and did not bothered to email anything. I later talked with a manager there (Michael Stinelli) who said they don't send copies of sales agreements/offers to the customers. I asked him how he expected me to pay him $1,900 without any proof of an actual sale pending? His answer was something to the effect that you just have to "trust us". Right.......

Needless to say, I have forwarded this on the Florida State Attorney General in hopes they will put an end to this company. I would encourage everyone else who has been contacted by them to do so as well. The manager claims they made 75-80 contracts over the weekend. (That's 75-80 people like us who actually fell for this apparent scam and are likely to lose their money.) The Florida Attorney General number for consumer fraud is 850 414-3990. Florida also has a website where you can file a complaint electronically.

You should also file a claim with the Florida real estate licensing board at:
https://www.myfloridalicense.com/entercomplaint.asp?SID= According to the manager, (Michael Stinelli) Timeshare Megamedia's real estate license number is PC 3481. However, he also admitted that the sales people like Young Mula, do not have real estate licenses.

At this point, I would not believe anyone saying they successfully sold a timeshare through this group without them providing the property location, date of sale, deed number and place recorded.

As a final comment - I would note that it appears that someone (TMM?) has recently listed the company by 7 or 8 variations in Trustlink possibly in an effort to avoid consumers finding the one listing with multiple negative comments and the BBB rating of "F". If you havn't seen them, one of the variations of Timeshare Mega Media in Trustlink has multiple negative comments.
